Directorate Change

 

SIMEC Atlantis Energy, the global developer, owner and operator of sustainable
energy projects, announces that Ian Wakelin, Non-executive Director and Chair
of the Audit Committee, has resigned from the Board of Atlantis having
accepted the role of Chairman of Viridor Group, a British waste company.

 

Mr Wakelin will leave the Company's Board in October and will in the interim
assist the transition of the Audit Committee to a new chair.

 

Atlantis has begun the search for a suitable replacement and a further
announcement will be made in due course.

 

Ian Wakelin, Non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee
commented:

 

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working with the talented team at Atlantis
on the groundbreaking Uskmouth project and the rest of their exciting
portfolio under development. I am stepping down to prevent any future
conflicts of interest given my new role at Viridor, however I look forward to
monitoring progress closely and to watching the Company flourish".

 

John Neill, Chairman of Simec Atlantis, commented:
