The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq opened higher on Wednesday after strong quarterly
showing from heavyweights Alphabet and Amazon, while investors counted on more
fiscal stimulus to aid an economic recovery. .N 
    At 10:52 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.17% at
30,635. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.21% at 3,818.46 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was down 0.18% at 13,588.671.
