AI firm SenseTime shines in HK debut; Chervon, Sirnaomics jump

** Shares of Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) start-up
SenseTime Group Inc  0020.HK  trade as high as HK$4.74 ($0.6079)
in Hong Kong debut, up 23.1% from the initial public offering
price 
    ** Stock last up 14% from the IPO price of HK$3.85 apiece;
second most actively traded by turnover 
    ** Shanghai-based co sold 1.5 bln shares in IPO, raising
$740 mln. It priced its shares at the bottom of the range

    ** Another new comer Chervon Holdings Ltd  2285.HK  trades
as high as HK$54.40 in debut, up 24.8% from the offer price of
HK$43.60. The power tools maker sold 71.9 mln shares in global

    ** Shares of Sirnaomics Ltd  2257.HK  rise 12.6% in debut to
HK$74.20, compared to the offer price of HK$65.90. The Chinese
biotech company sold 7.5 mln shares, raising HK$494 mln ($63.35

    ** The Hang Seng sub-index on information technology firms
 .HSCIIT  and the Hang Seng Tech Index  .HSTECH  both rise 0.7%
    ** The Hang Seng Composite Index on industrials  .HSCIIG 
climbs 0.5% and the Hang Seng Index  .HSI  gains 0.4%
