Aussie tech stocks gain as Nasdaq futures jump

** Australia's technology sub-index  .AXIJ  gains 2.1% to
2,859.9 points; broader benchmark index  .AXJO  adds 0.4%
    ** Local tech stocks rise tracking a 0.9% jump in futures of
tech-heavy Nasdaq
    ** Wall Street, which ended lower on Monday, recouped steep
losses it faced earlier in the session as investors scrambled to
keep up with sudden changes in U.S. trade policy  .N 
    ** Tech-focussed Siteminder  SDR.AX  and IT major Megaport
 MP1.AX  top gainers, adding 5% and 4.7% respectively
    ** Index heavyweight WiseTech Global  WTC.AX  up 3.3%
    ** AXIJ gains 4% YTD
