China welcomes foreign investment and cooperation, vice premier says

BEIJING, Oct 10 (Reuters) - China welcomes multinational firms expanding investment and cooperation in the country, Vice Premier He Lifeng told representatives of foreign companies in Beijing on Friday, the official Xinhua news agency said.

China will continue to open up, He said, adding that China's economy showed stability, resilience and potential.

Representatives from companies including Abbott Laboratories ABT.N, Prudential PRU.L, and SK Group 034730.KS were at the meeting, Xinhua said.
