Appointment of CFO and Notice of Results

 

Skillcast Group plc, a provider of e-learning and digital compliance
transformation, is pleased to announce that Richard Steele will be joining the
Company as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 11 May 2022, following the
publication of the Company's final results for the year ended 31 December
2021, which are expected to be released on 10 May 2022.

 

Richard Steele has over 30 years' experience in commercial and operational
finance roles in the professional services, food and retail sectors, including
15 years in board level roles. Most recently, Richard was Chief Financial
Officer of Mind Gym plc (AIM: MIND), the global provider of human capital and
business improvement solutions, from its AIM admission in 2018 until the end
of 2021. From 2012 until January 2018, Richard served as Finance Director of
Cook Trading Limited, the frozen ready meal retailer. Prior to this, he was
Finance Director at the retailer White Stuff Limited from 2007 to 2012.
Richard has also held a variety of finance roles within Principles Retail
Limited and Easy Group and started his career at Tate & Lyle plc where he
qualified as an accountant and worked for 10 years from 1989.

 

Richard, who will be full time, will be replacing the current part-time
incumbent, Chris Backhouse, who will stand down from the Board, and as Chief
Financial Officer, on 11 May 2022. Chris will continue to provide finance
services to the Company for a period of time under Skillcast's contract with
Enterprise FD Ltd to ensure a smooth transition of the role. The Board wishes
to express its gratitude and appreciation to Chris for his role in guiding the
Company's growth and development and wishes him all the best for the future.

 

Vivek Dodd, Chief Executive Officer of Skillcast, said: "We are grateful to

and guiding the Company through the IPO last year. We have greatly valued
Chris' input and direction and wish him continued success at Enterprise FD.
