U.S. stock indexes rose for the third straight session on Tuesday as voting
began in the crucial midterm election that will determine control of Congress,
with investors hoping for a political gridlock which could prevent radical
policy changes. .N
At 13:41 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 1.03% at
33,164.62. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.70% at 3,833.3 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 0.71% at 10,639.255.
