The benchmark S&P 500 slipped and the main U.S. indexes were set for monthly
losses on Tuesday as Treasury yields rose with investors bracing for the
possibility of interest rates remaining high for a prolonged period. .N
At 13:36 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.30% at
32,791.33. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.31% at 3,994.72 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 0.63% at 11,538.715.
