U.S. stock indexes rose for the third straight session on Tuesday as voting
began in the crucial midterm election that will determine control of Congress,
with investors hoping for a political gridlock that could prevent radical policy
changes. .N
At 10:32 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.93% at
33,130.79. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.61% at 3,830.21 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 0.55% at 10,622.719.
