Wall Street's main stock indexes climbed on Tuesday as cooler-than-expected
inflation data boosted expectations that the Federal Reserve was done raising
interest rates and could start cutting them next year. .N
At 11:35 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 1.66% at
34,906.54. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 2.06% at 4,502.32 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 2.25% at 14,077.761.
