** Egg products supplier's Q2 consol. net profit surges nearly 3-fold to 247.5 mln rupees ($2.8 mln)

** Q2 consol revenue jumps 58.4% to 2.02 bln rupees

** Stock closes higher for ninth consecutive session

** YTD, stock up ~53%
