** Shares of Australia's SKS Technologies  SKS.AX  rise as
much as 7.8% to A$0.825, their highest level since June 1995
    ** Technology co wins A$11 mln ($7.30 mln) of defense
contracts
    ** Adds secured several major contracts for range of
electrical & communications infrastructure projects
    ** Says contracts secured at Australian defence force's RAAF
base Tindal in northern territory
    ** Stock up 155% YTD as of last close
