U.S. stocks rose on Monday in choppy trading after steep losses in the previous
session as easing Middle East tensions buoyed risk appetite, while investors
looked ahead to an action-packed week with major tech earnings and a key
inflation print.  .N 
    
    At 13:49 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 1.01% at
38,371.51. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 1.14% at 5,023.97 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 1.29% at 15,479.875.
