Appointment of Sascha Maier to Advisory Board

 

Smarttech247 (AIM: S247), a multi-award-winning provider of AI-enhanced
cybersecurity services providing automated managed detection and response for
a portfolio of international clients, is pleased to announce the appointment
of Sascha Maier to its Advisory Board.

 

Sascha is currently the Group Chief Information and Security Officer at SV
Group, a leading hospitality and catering group in Europe. In this role, he
oversees the Cyber Resilience strategy for the entire group, including all
brands, subsidiaries, and the foundation.

 

Previously, Sascha held a number of positions across Europe, including 10
years as the Head of IT and Cyber Resilience at IWC Schaffhausen, Director of
Cloud and Security Services at SwissCloud, and an IT Manager at DISA
Industries. Additionally, Sascha is currently a member of the Advisory Board
of the Swiss Cyber Institute, where he supports its mission of networking
security professionals, business experts, and academics. Furthermore, Sascha
served for many years on the Advisory Board of Digital Shadows (UK / US) until
its successful exit in 2022 for 160 million USD (sold to ReliaQuest).
