Confirmation of Scheme Directions Hearing

Further to the publication of a Practice Statement Letter on behalf of
Petropavlovsk PLC, Petropavlovsk 2010 Limited and Petropavlovsk 2016 Limited
(the "Scheme Companies") on 9 December 2022, the Administrators of
Petropavlovsk PLC (Allister Manson, Trevor Binyon and Joanne Rolls of Opus
Restructuring LLP) hereby notify Scheme Creditors that a Scheme Directions
Hearing is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 20 December 2022 at the
Companies Court, Chancery Division, Rolls Building, Fetter Lane, London, EC4A
1NL. The time of the hearing has not yet been announced and may only be made
available the day before.

Copies of the Claim Forms commencing the applications, together with the
principal witness statement supporting them, are now available at the
Petropavlovsk website

As previously announced, Scheme Creditors are entitled to attend the hearing
and may make representations relevant to the proceedings. Any creditor wishing
to do so is requested to contact the Administrators by close of business on
Monday 19 December, confirming their intention to attend the hearing and
providing details of any matters they wish to raise. The contact details for
the Administrators are below.

Scheme Creditors are also advised that a dedicated online portal has been
established to solicit formal registration of any Scheme Claims, including
holdings of the Scheme Companies' US$500m 8.125% Guaranteed Notes due 2022
(ISIN: XS1711554102) and US$125m 8.25% Guaranteed Convertible Bonds due 2024
(ISIN: XS1843433555). Scheme Creditors are encouraged to access the portal at

suitable evidence in relation to the nominal quantity of notes or bonds held,
as well as information regarding the ultimate beneficial owner, in advance of
voting on the Schemes commencing formally. The Scheme Companies have appointed
i2 Capital Markets Limited to act as Information Agent in connection with the
Schemes, and their contact details are also set out below.
