TRANSACTIONS IN OWN SHARES

Smiths Group plc ("Smiths Group") announces today that it has purchased the
following number of its ordinary shares of 37.5 pence each on the London Stock
Exchange from J.P. Morgan Securities plc (J.P. Morgan). Such purchase was
effected pursuant to instructions issued by Smiths Group on 6 July 2022, as
announced on 30 June 2022:

Smiths Group will cancel the purchased shares.
