 TRANSACTIONS IN OWN SHARES

 Smiths Group plc ("Smiths Group") announces today that it has purchased the
 following number of its ordinary shares of 37.5 pence each on the London Stock
 Exchange, CBOE BXE, CBOE CXE and Turquoise from Goldman Sachs International
 (GSI). Such purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by Smiths
 Group on 11 October 2022, as announced on 12 October 2022
