India's SML Isuzu up on Sept sales climb, price hike

** Shares of Indian automaker SML Isuzu  SMLI.NS  rise as
much as 5.9% to 1,249.9 rupees, highest since Aug. 16
    ** Co said its total sales in Sept rose 16% YoY to 872 units
    ** Cargo vehicles and passenger vehicles Sept sales up 7%
and 22% YoY, respectively
    ** Separately, co said it increased prices for all buses,
trucks, and school buses
    ** Price hike to cover input cost increase on implementation
of Fire Alarm and Protection System (FAPS)
    ** Over 37,000 shares change hands as of 10:20 a.m. IST,
1.2x the 30-day moving average
    ** Stock last up 3.5%, taking YTD gains to 80.4%
