Transaction in own Shares

Smurfit Kappa announces the purchase on Euronext Dublin, through J&E Davy,
of the Company's ordinary shares of €0.001 each ('Shares') as detailed
below. This purchase relates to Smurfit Kappa's announcement on 7 December
2022 of its share buy-back transaction.

 Date of purchase:              16 December 2022
 Number of Shares purchased:    211,750
 Highest price paid per Share:  €35.06
 Lowest price paid per Share:   €34.75
 Average price paid per Share:  €34.9203

 

Following the repurchase of Shares on 16 December 2022 and their subsequent
cancellation, the share buy-back transaction announced on 7 December 2022 will
have been completed.

Following completion of the transaction, Smurfit Kappa will have 259,033,759
ordinary shares in issue.  No ordinary shares of Smurfit Kappa are held in
treasury.
