April 4 (Reuters) - Sodexo EXHO.PA reported a 3.5% rise in half-year revenue on Friday, confirming its preliminary estimate, two weeks after the French caterer issued a profit warning due to a weak performance in its education and healthcare businesses in North America.
"The challenges are concentrated in a few identified areas, and we are strengthening our action plan," CEO Sophie Bellon said in a statement.
The company's revenue was 12.48 billion euros ($13.84 billion) in the six months through February 28, compared with 12.10 billion euros in the same period a year earlier.
Sodexo also confirmed the full-year guidance it had lowered on March 20.
