UK's Softcat tops FTSE mid-caps on profit outlook upgrade

** Shares of IT services and infra provider firm Softcat SCTS.L up 2.5% at 1,604p

** Stock is top gainer on FTSE mid-caps .FTMC index, which is up 0.1%

** Co expects mid-teens percentage growth in FY operating profit, up from low-teens growth announced previously

** Also forecasts high single-digit operating profit growth in FY26, excluding contribution from large projects in FY25

** YTD, including session's moves, SCTS up nearly 5% vs .FTMC rise of about 6%
