Oct 21 (Reuters) - Ocado Group OCDO.L is lining up
Adam Warby, a former Microsoft executive, to replace Rick
Haythornthwaite as the grocery technology company's chairman,
Sky News reported on Monday.
An announcement confirming Warby's appointment could come as
early as next month, the report added.
Ocado declined to comment to a Reuters request.
The Hatfield, UK-based company had announced in April
that
Haythornthwaite
will step down from the board next year due to his
"increasing commitment" at banking group NatWest NWG.L as
group chairman.
A seasoned veteran, Warby has served numerous top positions
at companies such as executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles
HSII.O , Swiss software firm SoftwareOne SWON.S and
U.S.-based investment firm KKR KKR.N .
