SoftwareOne confirms it is in talks to acquire rival Crayon (updated)

       Dec 13 (Reuters) - 
    Swiss technology firm SoftwareOne Holding  SWON.S  confirmed
on Friday that it is in advanced discussions to acquire
Norwegian rival Crayon Group Holding  CRAYN.OL  for a
consideration of cash and shares.
  
        Crayon also confirmed the discussions on Friday.
  
    There is no certainty that this will lead to an offer to
Crayon shareholders, both companies said in separate statements.
        Further updates will be provided in due course, they
said.
