Australia's Solvar jumps most in over 18 months on stronger half-year profit

** Shares of Solvar  SVR.AX  rise as much as 9.6% to
A$1.490, their biggest intraday gain since August 2023, last up
8.1%
    ** The consumer and commercial finance co's half-year
normalised net profit after tax (NPAT) went up by 26.9% to
A$18.5 million ($11.73 million), driven by increased interest
income
    ** Reiterates its FY25 guidance of normalised NPAT of A$34
million
    ** Shares down 1.3% YTD
