Solventum gains after raising 2024 profit forecast

    ** Shares of Solventum  SOLV.N  rise as much as 6.1% to a
near three-month high of $62.24 
    ** Late on Thursday, 3M's  MMM.N  healthcare spin-off raised
its annual adj. EPS forecast to $6.30 to $6.50 from its previous
outlook of $6.10 to $6.40
    ** SOLV's Q2 rev of $2.08 bln grew 0.2% from a year ago
    ** However, co's Q2 EPS fell to 51 cents from $1.86 a year
ago
    ** Stock down 22.7% since close on March 26, after spin off
from 3M
