Sompo holdings to acquire Aspen Insurance for $3.5 billion

TOKYO, Aug 27 (Reuters) - Japan's Sompo Holdigns said on Wednesday that it will acquire Aspen Insurance Holdings AHL.N for around $3.5 billion, offering $37.5 for each share of the U.S. firm.
