** Shares in hearing aid makers slip on Tuesday after Apple
AAPL.O rolled out hearing aid features that it has submitted
for U.S. regulatory review
** Apple said that its AirPods Pro 2 can be "transformed"
into a personalized hearing aid via an upcoming software update
** Amplifon AMPF.MI , Sonova SOON.S , Demant DEMANT.CO
and GN Store Nord GN.CO fall between 3% and 5%
** The newly released AirPods will help people with hearing
impairments and will provide greater ability to amplify sound, a
Milan-based trader says, commenting on Amplifon's share price
drop
** Vontobel says in a note that Apple's move is likely to
broaden the hearing device market initially, but once the
disease progresses, people will eventually need to see a
professional fitter
