May 18 (Reuters) - Swiss hearing aid maker Sonova Holding SOON.S forecast higher sales for its 2026/27 financial year on Monday, betting on the upcoming launches of its new platform and other products.
The world's largest maker of hearing aids expects its sales to rise between 5% and 8%, compared with 5.9% last year. Analysts, polled by Vara Research ahead of the results publication, had forecast local-currency sales growth of 5.8% for the past year and 5.9% for 2026/27.
Its core operating profit is expected to grow between 7% and 10% at constant exchange rates in the twelve months through March 2027.
Sonova said it expected a gradual market recovery through the year, with overall market growth of 2% to 4%, improving towards the mid-term assumption of 3% to 5%.
