Italy's co-ruling 5-Star Movement has resolved a
long-running internal legal battle, paving the way for former
Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte to take over as leader of the

Global ratings agency Fitch on Friday affirmed Italy's
credit rating at "BBB-", just a notch above junk, saying the
COVID-19 pandemic continues to exert an adverse impact on euro

Treasury announces sale of BTP bonds, with relative amounts
to be auctioned on June 10.

Fitch Ratings on Friday placed under review with positive
implications the ratings of the Italian infrastructure group and
its Autostrade per l'Italia and Aeroporti di Roma units,
following a shareholder vote on May 31 in favour of the proposed

Fund Amber Capital has halved its stake in the Italian

The Tuscan bank has not discussed changing its distribution
agreement with asset manager Anima, two people with knowledge of
the matter said on Friday, dismissing a press report that said
such changes had been put forward to the board by CEO Guido
Bastianini on May 27.
The lender is paying too high a price for the European
Commission's delays, according to First Cisl Secretary General
Riccardo Colombani, whose comments were reported on Sunday by Il
Messaggero. The trade union top official holds Brussels
responsible for the fact that it will be necessary to wait until
the end of the year to strengthen the bank's capital base.
TELECOM ITALIA TLIT.MI
Fibercop, a vehicle controlled by TIM which runs the group's
secondary network going from street cabinets to homes, is
intensifying contacts with several utilities to reach deals
using the second network, Il Sole 24 Ore reported on Saturday.
Once details for the single network project will be drawn
up, state lender CDP will dilute its 9.8% stake in the phone
group and will then sell the remaining shareholding on the
market, Il Foglio reported on Saturday.
Italy's innovation minister Vittorio Colao on Sunday played
down the idea of creating a single ultra-fast broadband network,
a project supported by the previous governing coalition.

WEBUILD WBD.MI
State lender CDP, which holds an 18% stake in the
construction group, intends to dilute its shareholding and exit
the investment, Il Foglio reported on Saturday.
GUALA CLOSURES GCL.MI
Investindustrial ends takeover offer on Guala Closures
shares. As of Friday, shares had been tendered equivalent to 75%
of the total targeted by the bid, meaning the takeover vehicle
controlled 84% of the target's capital, Investindustrial said.
