** Stock hits highest in over two months
** SHC says it has finalized settlement of ethylene oxide
claims against co in Illinois
** Says 879 of the 882 claimants eligible to participate in
the settlement program have opted in
** Co says it won't incur additional charges related to the
settlement
** SHC had said in January it would pay $408 mln to settle
the claims and would record a related charge in Q4 2022
** Including session's gain, stock has more than doubled YTD
