Spark New Zealand extends gains on completing NOW Consulting buy

** Shares of telco Spark New Zealand Ltd  SPK.NZ  rise as
much as 2.4% to NZ$4.650, their highest since Aug 2005
    ** Co says its unit Qrious has completed the acquisition of
AI and data firm NOW Consulting  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nFWN25V0WB
    ** Co announced the acquisition on Wednesday which boosted
its shares by almost 2%  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nL3N25V114
    ** Posts biggest intraday percentage gain since Aug 23; on
track to close higher for third straight session
    ** ASX-listed shares of Spark  SPK.AX  also advance as much
as 1.9%
    ** As of last close, Spark's NZ stock has gained 9.8% this
year, whereas its ASX shares have climbed 6.2%
