    ** Stock hits highest in nearly two months
    ** Crescent Point Energy Corp  CPG.TO  says it will acquire
SDE's assets in Alberta's Montney region for $1.2 bln in cash
    ** Deal expected to close during Q2 2023
    ** CPG raises its production forecast for 2023 following
deal
    ** Toronto-listed shares of CPG up 0.9% at C$9.14
    ** YTD, Spartan and Crescent shares down 2.1% and 5.1%,
respectively
