Spectra Systems' machine-readable and sustainably sourced Fusion(TM) substrate
is a critical component of the house banknote designed and printed by the Casa
Da Moeda Do Brazil which was announced and displayed on Tuesday June 10, 2025,
at the High Security Printing - Latin America (9-11 June) in Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil.

 

The house banknote, produced by the Casa Da Moeda Do Brazil, is the result of
a collaboration of the industry's leading companies. This impressive list of
collaborators includes Spectra Systems, Oberthur Fiduciaire, SICPA and Koenig
& Bauer. The house note has the highest security of any polymer note
developed to date with a machine-readable covert substrate from Spectra
Systems, first announced in 2019, as well as the newest public level security
feature from Oberthur Fiduciarie, Kryptonome.  Spectra Systems has worked
with Oberthur for over two years in the development of the printing technology
required to produce this new security feature.
