Spectral AI rises after founder Michael DiMaio returns as chairman of board

** Shares of diagnostics company Spectral AI  MDAI.O  rise
7% to $1.23 in extended trading 
    ** Co says founder and second-largest shareholder Michael
DiMaio has been named chairman of the board of directors 
    ** DiMaio founded MDAI in 2009, served as the company's CEO
and chairman of the board from 2011 to 2020  
    ** MDAI says board has authorized creation of the Office of
the Chairman to support ongoing clinical development and
commercialization of co's predictive AI platform, DeepView 
    ** Adds current CEO Peter Carlson will step down to pursue
other business opportunities
    ** Up to last close, stock down 53.3% YTD
