In accordance with paragraph 9.6.14R of the Listing Rules, Spectris plc
announces that, Ulf Quellmann, Non-executive Director, has notified the
Company that with effect from 1 July 2022 he will be appointed as Executive
Vice President of Allied Gold, a privately owned gold mining and development
company with activities (through subsidiaries) in Côte d'Ivoire, Mali,
Ethiopia and Egypt. After a transitionary period, Mr. Quellmann will become
Chief Financial Officer of Allied Gold with effect from 1 October 2022.
