Spectris plc ("Spectris") securities in issue pursuant to Rule 2.9

In accordance with Rule 2.9 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, as at
the close of business on 28 February 2022 Spectris' issued share capital
consisted of 115,582,582 ordinary shares of £0.05 each, of which 4,759,474
shares are held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of shares with full
voting rights in Spectris as at the close of business on the above date was
110,823,108.

The International Securities Identification Number for Spectris' ordinary
shares is GB0003308607.
