Spectris - Spectris Dynamics site visit

21 June 2023 - Spectris plc (SXS: LSE), the expert in providing insight
through precision measurement, is today hosting an investor event at its
Virtual Test site in Udine, Italy on Spectris Dynamics (Dynamics), one of the
Group's two main business divisions.

 

Dynamics is a global leader in advanced virtual and physical testing, and high
precision sensing solutions.  It is uniquely placed, offering the broadest
solution, with the ability to integrate both the physical and virtual worlds
of test and measurement. Dynamics supports the world's leading automotive,
machine manufacturing, aerospace, electronics and advanced research customers.
 

 

In 2022, Dynamics grew sales by 16% (7% on a LFL basis) to £492.2 million and
delivered an adjusted operating margin of 15.0%. In the first quarter trading
update issued on 27 April 2023, the Dynamics business reported continued sales
momentum delivering 21% LFL growth in the first quarter.

 

During today's presentations, Andrew Heath, Chief Executive, will be joined
by members of the Spectris Dynamics team led by Ben Bryson, President, to
provide greater insight into the outlook and prospects for the Dynamics
business.

 

The presentations will highlight the unique breadth of Dynamics' offering; its
plans to drive continued organic growth from strong positions in attractive,
high growth markets; and its focus on delivering sustainable profitable growth
and further margin expansion towards the Group's operating margin target of
20% over the coming years.
