** Shares in French energy company Spie SPIE.PA shed 2.9%
after Bpifrance's Lac1 fund announced selling part of its stake
in the company
** Lac1 said it would dispose of 4.2 million shares,
representing around 2.5% of Spie's share capital
** With a 5.5% stake as of June 24, Bpifrance used to be
Spie's second biggest shareholder
** This decision "follows SPIE's stock market performance
since Lac1 acquired a stake in the company in February 2022",
Bpifrance said in a press release
** Following the disposal, Lac1 will no longer be
represented on Spie's Board of directors, it added
** Today's losses brought down the stock's yearly gains to
7.8%, from 11% at yesterday's close
