** Shares of space-based data provider Spire Global SPIR.N rise 7.5% to $9.16 premarket

** SPIR said on Tuesday it had launched two AI-powered weather models based on Nvidia's NVDA.O graphics processing units (GPU) to provide seasonal forecasts

** Co said weather models AI-WX and AI-S2S can capture full range of possible weather outcomes catering to array of industries, including energy, utilities and commodities

** Up to last close, stock down 30.6% in past 12 months
