Soccer-Benfica hires Jose Mourinho as manager
LISBON, Sept 18 (Reuters) - Portuguese club Benfica SLBEN.LS has hired Jose Mourinho as their manager a day after sacking Bruno Lage, president Rui Costa said on Thursday. Both sides may choose to end the contract in the 2026/27 season, 10 days after this season's last game, the club said in a filing to the stock market regulator.
