** Shares of Shriram Pistons & Rings  SHIE.NS  rise as much
as 5% to 1,605.20 rupees, hits a record high
    ** About 138,470 shares change hands in three block deals
for 1585.25-1605.20 rupees apiece, per LSEG data
    ** SHIE shares, last up 4.6%, on track for third consecutive
session of gains, if trend holds
    ** More than 573,900 shares change hands, 2.4x the 30-day
avg 
    ** Stock more than doubled in 2023, posting third straight
yearly gains
