India's SRM Contractors rises on 1 bln-rupee project win

** SRM Contractors  SRMC.NS  rises as much as 5.3% to 390.75
rupees
    ** Co gets project for rectification work on roads and
flyover in Gujarat from National Highway Authority of India for
1.06 bln rupees ($12.5 mln)
    ** Stock on track to gain for fourth straight month; up
11.8% so far this month
    ** SRMC last up 2.6%; has gained ~72% since listing in April
