DEBT
Moody's on Friday raised its outlook on Italy to "positive" from "stable", citing improved confidence following a "better-than-expected" fiscal performance last year and a "stable" political environment, which will support the government's plans. The credit ratings agency also maintained its "Baa3" rating on Italy.
Scope Ratings said on Friday it had completed its monitoring review on Italian credit ratings without taking any rating action.
Treasury announces minimum guaranteed rates for new 7-year BTP Italia bond offer due June 4, 2032.
Treasury announces sale of BTP and CCTeu bonds, with relative amounts to be auctioned on May 29.
COMPANIES
UNICREDIT CRDI.MI, BANCO BPM BAMI.MI
The European Central Bank and Bank of Italy have raised their level of attention on the need to protect the two lenders' stability after the latest twists and turns in UniCredit's attempt to buy smaller rival Banco BPM, Il Messaggero reported on Saturday.
Following the decision by UniCredit to challenge in court the conditions the government has imposed for its bid on Banco BPM, and the potential legal reaction by Banco BPM, the newspaper said that the dispute has become too contentious, cutting off the market, stakeholders and investors.
The two authorities want to verify whether Banco BPM's autonomy as a bank is preserved, the paper said, adding that in the coming days they would use all the tools at their disposal to verify the situation.
The government has no intention to change the stringent conditions it set on UniCredit in relation to the lender's bid for Banco BPM, Treasury Junior Minister Federico Freni said on Friday.
(*) An administrative court will discuss on June 10 the appeal presented by Banco BPM against market regulator Consob's 30-day suspension of UniCredit's takeover offer, ANSA news agency reported on Sunday, citing sources close to Banco BPM.
PIRELLI PIRC.MI
The Italian tyre maker Pirelli is in a risky situation after its Chinese leading shareholder Sinochem rejected a proposal by the company to solve governance issues that could hinder its expansion in the United States, the group's CEO told daily Corriere della Sera on Saturday.
Pirelli second-largest shareholder, Italy's Camfin, bought nearly 6 million shares in the tyre maker increase its stake to almost 27% from 26.4%, regulatory filings showed on Friday.
ENEL ENEI.MI
Italy needs to be cautious in phasing out its coal-fired power plants, the country's Energy Minister Gilberto Pichetto Fratin said on Saturday, referring to Enel's power stations in Brindisi and Civitavecchia, which were expected to shut down by the end of this year.
(*) Enel Green Power North America signed a swap agreement with Gulf Pacific Power with which it will increase its indirect equity stakes in certain corporate vehicles owning wind farms, Enel said in a statement on Monday. The deal will allow the group to increase its consolidated renewable capacity in the U.S. by 285 MW, it added.
(*) Czech energy holding company EPH completed the acquisition of Enel's stake in Slovenske Elektrarne, raising its stake to 66%, it said on Friday.

The multi-utility is working on an industrial plan to 2035, which will be presented in November and will foresee investments ranging from 900 million euros to 1 billion per year, Chief Executive Gianluca Bufo was quoted as saying by Corriere della Sera's L'Economia supplement on Monday.

The fintech group - which operates the popular Italian price comparison website Trovaprezzi.it - is focused on the integration of the companies it acquired in Germany, France, Spain and the Netherlands and will asses other possible M&A opportunities, mainly in markets where it already works, although nothing is on the table at the moment, CEO Alessio Santarelli told Corriere della Sera's L'Economia supplement on Monday.
JUVENTUS JUVE.MI, LAZIO LAZI.MI
Manuel Locatelli's penalty earned Juventus a 3-2 win at Venezia on Sunday to secure his side a Champions League spot. Lazio fell to a 1-0 loss at home to Lecce failing to secure a place in next season's European competitions.

The information technology group is weighing the possibility of a dual listing, the Chief Technology Officer of the group told Milano Finanza on Saturday.
IPO, METRIKS AI
Software company Metriks AI submitted on Friday an application for admission to trading of its ordinary shares on the Euronext Growth Milan market. Metriks shares are expected to start trading on May 30.
