POLITICS
A two-year-old girl died and eight people were missing after
a migrant vessel shipwrecked off the coast of Lampedusa on
Monday, Italian media reported.
Italy decided to block the takeover by French group Safran
SAF.PA of Microtecnica, Collins Aerospace's Italian
subsidiary, due to the risk of disruption in supplies to the
Italian armed forces, government officials said.
DEBT
Italy's Treasury said on Monday it would offer up to 3
billion euros of BTP bonds maturing on February 1, 2033, buying
back 4 bonds maturing in 2024.
Treasury announces sale of BTP Short and BTPei bonds, with
relative amounts to be auctioned on Nov. 24.

BANCA MONTE DEI PASCHI (MPS) BMPS.MI
Italy's Treasury on Monday said it was placing with
investors around 20% of bailed-out MPS, moving ahead with plans
to re-privatise the world's oldest bank two years after an
earlier attempt failed.

The Italian energy group has temporary halted arbitration
regarding an oilfield dispute with the Nigerian government,
buying time to discuss the conversion of a licence from
prospecting to one for production, sources with direct knowledge
of the matter told Reuters.
SNAM SRG.MI
The Italian gas grid operator said late on Monday it had
successfully launched its second EU Taxonomy-Aligned Transition
Bond for 650 million euros.

Serie A kicked off the sale of its international
broadcasting licenses, approving deals in eight small European
markets, including Portugal, Hungary and the Netherlands,
Italy's top flight soccer league said in a statement on Monday.
