Italy's biggest bank on Friday lifted its 2023 profit goal
after higher interest rates drove quarterly income above
expectations, and pledged to increase rewards for shareholders
barring a deep recession.
TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI
The group on Sunday approved the 19 billion euro ($20
billion) sale of its fixed-line network to U.S. private equity
firm KKR KKR.N , becoming the first telecoms group in a major
European country to part ways with its landline grid.
SAFILO SFLG.MI
The Italian eyewear group on Friday reported adjusted core
profit at 18.1 million euros in the quarter, down 20%
year-on-year, due to declining sales in former GrandVision
chains in Europe and weakness in the North American market.
FERRAGAMO SFER.MI
The Italian luxury group said on Friday it had completed the
closing for the purchase of minority interests held by the
companies related to board member Peter K. C. Woo, Imaginex
Holdings Limited and Imaginex Overseas Limited, in three Greater
China joint ventures.
UTILITIES
Italy's regulated household gas prices rose 12% in October
from the previous month, the country's energy authority ARERA
said in a statement on Friday.

An early goal by Fabio Miretti gave Juventus a 1-0 win at
Fiorentina on Sunday, earning Massimiliano Allegri's side their
fourth consecutive Serie A victory to remain two points off top
spot.

Midfielder Lewis Ferguson scored the only goal of the game
with which Bologna beat Lazio 1-0 on Friday.
