Lazio slides after tax police inquiry on capital gains

** Shares in Italian Serie A football club Lazio LAZI.MI
fall as much as 8.4% after Italy's finance police (Guardia di
Finanza) said it is being targeted by a capital gains
investigation.
** The tax police on Wednesday searched and seized evidence
from the offices of Serie A sides Roma, Lazio and Salernitana as
part of investigations into transfer market of sports
performance rights and fees of some players
** By 0856 GMT shares are down 4.9% and on track for their
worst day since June 2022
