Repayment of Ruble Bonds

Moscow, Russian Federation (20 May 2015) - Public Joint Stock Company "MegaFon" (LSE: MFON), a leading Russian telecommunications operator ("MegaFon" or the "Company"), announces that the Company has repaid in full its Series BO-04 Ruble denominated exchange bonds (the "Bonds").

As previously announced by the Company at the Q1 2015 Earnings call held on 29 April 2015 (please refer to http://ir.megafon.com/ai/document/6185/file/MegaFon_Presentation_Q1_2015.pdf), MegaFon redeemed RUB 15 Bn Bonds at par value on 19 May 2015, subject to the issue documentation.
