Adds new items, updates futures
Nov 10 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Monday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.84%.
* DIAGEO: Diageo DGE.L appointed former Tesco TSCO.L boss Dave Lewis as its CEO on Monday, ending a months-long search and turning to an outsider to steer the world's largest spirits maker through a challenging period for the drinks industry.
*FERREXPO: Ferrexpo FXPO.L said on Monday that its production and exports have been interrupted after Russian attacks over the weekend targeting energy infrastructure in Ukraine affected the miner's power supply in a key region.
* SSP GROUP: Upper Crust owner SSP Group SSPG.L said on Monday Mike Clasper intends to step down as both chair and director following the group's annual general meeting on January 23, 2026.
* JTC: JTC JTC.L said on Monday that it has accepted a fourth revised buyout proposal from British private equity firm Permira, valuing the company at 2.3 billion pounds ($3.09 billion).
* BBC: The BBC's boss and its head of news quit on Sunday following accusations of bias at the British broadcaster, including in the way it edited a speech by U.S. President Donald Trump.
* OIL: Oil prices rose on Monday on optimism that the U.S. government shutdown could end soon and lift demand in the world's top oil consumer, offsetting concerns about rising supplies globally.
* METALS: Copper climbed on Monday after October data from top consumer China signalled easing deflation and lifted confidence in economic recovery, as consumer prices turned positive and factory-gate price declines narrowed.
* GOLD: Gold prices rose on Monday, buoyed by expectations of another Federal Reserve interest rate cut in December and a slew of weak economic data that raised global growth worries.
