Australian gold miners hit 11 week high as Evolution Mining glitters

** Australian gold miners index  .AXGD  rises nearly 1% to
9545.7, their highest level since Nov 1
    ** Evolution Mining  EVN.AX  leads with gains of as much as
2% to a four-year high, after reporting better-than-expected Q2
output
    ** SSR Mining's  SSRM.AX  jump 8.4% to more-than-1-month
high
    ** Gold prices also hit a record high as USD weakens  GOL/ 
    ** Sub-index had risen 14.3% in 2024
