UK Stocks-Factors to watch on October 23 (updated)

Adds new items, updates futures

Oct 23 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Thursday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.12%.

* UNILEVER : Unilever's ULVR.L third-quarter underlying sales growth topped market expectations, driven by strength in its beauty products across North America and emerging markets.

* LLOYDS : Lloyds Banking Group LLOY.L said  its third quarter profit fell 36% and it downgraded its performance guidance for the year.

    * LSEG: The London Stock Exchange Group LSEG.L  said it would buy a greater proportion of revenue surplus from its SwapClear business for 1.15 billion pounds ($1.54 billion), as it unveiled a new share buyback program with robust quarterly results.

* ANTOFAGASTA: Antofagasta ANTO.L reported a nominal 1% sequential rise in third-quarter copper production, and said it expects annual output at the lower end of its of 660-700 kilo tonnes forecast range.

* IHG:  InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) IHG.L surprised the market with a 0.1% rise in third-quarter global revenue per available room (RevPAR).

* SCHRODERS: Schroders SDR.L  reported 2.2 billion pounds ($3 billion) of net inflows of client cash in the third quarter and a fresh high for assets under management.

* ST JAMES'S PLACE : St James's Place's SJP.L third-quarter net inflows nearly doubled year-on-year, supported by growing investor preference for UK assets and strong client activity.

* LEGAL & GENERAL: Britain must not deter pension savers with tax changes in next month's budget, Legal & General LGEN.L CEO Antonio Simoes told Reuters, adding that uncertainty was souring investment as the UK's biggest investor battles to sell its own strategy.

* COMMODITIES: Oil prices jumped 3% , extending gains from the previous session, gold prices rose, and Shanghai copper gained on bullish market expectations of China's new five-year plan.

* EX-DIVS: BAE Systems BAES.L will trade without entitlement to its latest dividend pay-out.
